Why this job? As Senior Public Relations Manager at Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom (SETT), you’ll develop and execute integrated communications strategies. You’ll report to the Director of Public Relations with a dotted line to the SETT Marketing Lead and you will work closely with business leaders and marketing pros to develop and implement internal and external communication campaigns in support of our B2B and B2C business goals. Since you’re an ace when it comes to modern PR – including earned and owned media, social media, and thought leadership strategies – you’ll excel at raising the profile of SETT and its executives. You will work closely with various teams, including SETT Marketing, Corporate PR, Internal Communications, Brand, Performance Marketing, Recruiting, Sales, and Operations, to drive growth through sophisticated public relations and content marketing campaigns.

How you’ll spend your time.

Strategic Communications Planning & Execution – 40%

You’ll define messaging used in the development and execution of communication programs that support the SETT business and communication objectives; and you’ll develop and execute integrated communications strategies that align with our business strategy.

Media Relations – 40%

You’ll protect and promote the SETT and Kelly brand ensuring it is visible and consistent across external communication channels. You’ll manage our brand narrative in a digital ecosystem, and you’ll develop and nurture relationships with media, industry experts, organizations, clients, and other external stakeholders.

You’ll build and maintain relationships with national, regional, local and trade media; you’ll lead proactive media outreach to differentiate the SETT brand and bring opportunities to life by leveraging SETT experts, clients, and talent to drive earned media coverage; you’ll work with our analyst relations team to develop and execute an analyst engagement strategy; and you’ll partner with company leaders to position SETT as a forward-looking business.

Thought Leadership Initiatives – 20%

You will support in-bound speaking opportunities for SETT leaders and proactively pursue additional opportunities adjacent to the workforce industry. You'll identify, support, and amplify industry recognitions for SETT leaders in North America and EMEA and support leaders with social media and thought leadership content creation.

What we require.

  • 8+ years of corporate communications experience or journalism experience within SETT industries (science, engineering, technology and telecom).
  • A remote position with occasional travel.
