The Kelly Education (KE) Recruiting Strategist role is instrumental in Kelly’s overall success in staffing PK-12 accounts within the Kelly Education practice for a portfolio of clients in the Charlotte, NC area. The Recruiting Strategist is responsible for candidate qualification and selection to make hiring recommendations to school district hiring managers and to make candidate hiring decisions on behalf of the school district. The Recruiting Strategist will also be responsible for all onboarding tasks required to build/maintain a talent pool for various Education Practice customer positions, to include all vital training, credentialing, screening, and associated tasks needed to achieve ready- to-work status. The Recruiting Strategist will need to understand Kelly hiring processes, procedures, and policies as well as client and State specific credentialing and certification requirements. They will be held accountable for the Education Practice service delivery expectations and the activity metrics associated with this role. Their success will be highly impacted by their ability to develop working relationships with clients, peers, Client Managers and Talent Advisors. They must understand the importance of being a true teammate.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, development, and implementation of recruiting strategies to achieve needed fulfillment expectations.
- Identify and select top talent by assessing a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, compensation, and availability aligned with, or on behalf of, client organization.
- Be knowledgeable and adhere to EEOC, ADA, and affirmative action guidelines.
- Act as Kelly brand ambassador by crafting local market presence through the development of relationships with our clients, local government offices, community outreach organizations and educational centers.
- Contact and respond to candidates regarding selection and/or candidate status and/or the need to reschedule appointments.
- Document all required information and activity within appropriate systems.
- Complete all onboarding documentation to include employment applications, tax forms, verification of eligibility to work in the United States, screenings, required credentials and certifications, and any other additional paperwork as required.
- Responsible for the accuracy of completed forms within State, Federal and company guidelines.
- Contact and respond to candidates regarding missing and/or updated documentation.
- Document all required information and activity within appropriate systems.
- Attend scheduled job fairs and/or recruiting events as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of recruiting, administrative, customer service, or education experience
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Customer service focus
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- MS Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
