Our IT Applications Manager is accountable for:

  • Strategic Planning and Architecture Design - Developing and implementing the overall architecture strategy for IT applications
  • Leading and managing both onshore and offshore development teams. This involves setting clear goals, providing guidance, facilitating communication, and ensuring effective collaboration across geographically dispersed teams
  • Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT application projects
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including business units, executives, and external partners
     

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in designing and implementing complex IT architectures, including knowledge of cloud services, microservices, and enterprise architecture frameworks.  
  • Proven track record of to leading, managing and developing diverse teams, including onshore and offshore resources. This includes skills in mentoring, performance management, conflict resolution, and motivating team members
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), tools, and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders, including business leaders, clients, and team members
  • Knowledge of risk management practices and compliance requirements related to IT applications, including data security, privacy regulations, and industry standards
  • Experience with CSS, AJAX, JSON, HTML, or MVC
  • Experience with Microsoft technology stack (.NET, C#, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Experience with full stack SaaS development

 

Seeking a minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience and a minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience. This is a virtual role within the USA. Candidate must be able to work early eastern time zone hours when required, standard hours of 8am – 5pm EST.
