Our Senior Procurement Specialist – Engineering & Technical Services is accountable for:
- Partnering with engineering, manufacturing, and operations stakeholders to support complex services procurement initiatives
- Managing the full lifecycle of Statements of Work (SOW), including creation, execution, change orders, and renewals
- Translating technical requirements into structured, compliant SOWs aligned to client governance and procurement standards
- Supportingsupplierselection, performance management, and ongoing relationship oversight
- Driving cost control through pricing analysis, benchmarking, and structured negotiations within established frameworks
- Tracking spend, budgets, milestone payments, and ensuring accuracy across procurement systems and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with VMS processes, audit readiness, and risk governance across all engagements
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experiences:
- Demonstrated experienceoperatingwithin a managed procurement, MSP, or outsourcing environment
- Strong understanding of SOW-based procurement, including lifecycle management and commercial negotiations
- Ability to partner with technical stakeholders and translate complex requirements into structured procurement solutions
- Experience managing multiple SOWs concurrently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships, performance metrics (SLAs/KPIs), and issue resolution
- Experience with procurement technologies and VMS tools such as Beeline, SAP Fieldglass, or similar
- Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment
- Minimum of 5–8+ years of experience in procurement, SOW management, or related environments
- This role is aligned to U.S. and Latin America stakeholders, operating primarily within Mountain and Pacific Time Zones, with preferred location in Phoenix,AZ or Portland, OR.
The annual base pay for this position is listed below. Final compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.
$73,875 to $98,500 per year
