The Kelly Services Procurement Supervisor oversees day-to-day Services Procurement and Statement of Work (SOW) operations within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) program at a client location. This role is responsible for operational execution, stakeholder engagement, supplier management, and the continued expansion of Services Procurement solutions within a broader contingent workforce program.
The ideal candidate combines procurement and MSP operational expertise with a consultative, relationship-driven approach focused on identifying opportunities to grow SOW adoption, enhance program value, and strengthen client partnerships. This individual will lead a small team while serving as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders, suppliers, and client business leaders.
This position has accountability for the performance and development of a team of up to three employees and is responsible for adapting departmental priorities to address operational, supplier, and client challenges. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, client objectives, and program strategy with support from leadership as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day Services Procurement and SOW program operations within a client MSP environment, ensuring service delivery excellence and compliance with program guidelines.
- Partner closely with client stakeholders, hiring managers, procurement teams, and suppliers to support the successful execution of SOW engagements and outsourced services initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to expand Services Procurement utilization within the client organization by promoting program capabilities, educating stakeholders, and driving adoption of best practices.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and suppliers to understand workforce and project-based service needs while delivering consultative solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of Services Procurement professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Support supplier negotiations, statement of work reviews, pricing evaluations, and contract compliance activities in partnership with procurement and legal stakeholders.
- Monitor program performance metrics, supplier performance, spend trends, and operational KPIs to identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with MSP leadership and cross-functional partners to implement strategic initiatives that improve operational efficiency, user experience, and overall program value.
- Drive process standardization, governance, and compliance across SOW and Services Procurement activities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point for client stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams regarding Services Procurement processes and solutions.
- Support change management and communication efforts related to Services Procurement expansion and program enhancements.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, MSP best practices, and evolving workforce solutions to help position the program for continued growth.
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experiences:
- 3+ years of experience in Services Procurement, SOW management, MSP operations, contingent workforce management, supply chain, procurement, or related field.
- Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment supporting contingent labor and/or Services Procurement programs.
- Strong understanding of Statement of Work (SOW) engagements, supplier management, procurement operations, and workforce solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and identify opportunities to expand program adoption and value.
- Proven leadership or people management experience with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate team members.
- Strong consultative, customer-service, and problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Experience collaborating with procurement, legal, IT, finance, and business stakeholders in a fast-paced client environment.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to interpret data, manage priorities, and drive operational improvements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance operational execution with strategic growth initiatives and client relationship management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting or expanding a Services Procurement/SOW solution within an enterprise MSP program.
- Background in contingent workforce management, staffing, procurement consulting, or supplier relationship management.
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and outsourced services engagements.
- Experience working onsite with enterprise clients in a highly collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of Vendor Management Systems (VMS), ERP systems, and procurement technologies; experience with SAP, Oracle, Beeline, Fieldglass, or similar platforms preferred.
Base pay range for this position is $61,575– $82,100 per year. Final annual compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.
