Kelly is seeking a Brand Strategist who will push the edge with provocative and inspiring brand expressions that get Kelly noticed by jobseekers, our clients and the world! With a focus on a bold brand vision, insight-fueled messaging and imaginative brand ideas, she/he will work to support critical brand initiatives across Kelly’s global operations.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, thoroughly modern brand marketer, able to inspire her/his colleagues with breakthrough brand-building ideas – able to bring to the staffing industry the best ideas and battle-tested principles from other consumer environments.  

A natural digital native, she/he will bring a strong understanding of how modern marketing channels (content, social, web, search, email, events, partnerships, etc), work in concert with buyer journey mapping, and ultimately influencing buyer behavior. 

She/he will possess the ability to analyze data, identifying insights that will spark new ways of engaging with jobseekers and clients.   She/he will work closely with peers in Business Planning, Product Development, Integrated Marketing/Activation and Marketing Research/Intel, as well as business stakeholders across the organization with particular alignment to Sales and Talent Experience strategic initiatives and Kelly’s specialty practices.

Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy & Execution

  • In collaboration with agency resources and global marketing teams, ideate and execute imaginative, provocative and innovative ways of engaging and acquiring specialty talent and niche clients (top of the funnel) in a resource-constrained environment; The goal is to get Kelly noticed in the marketplace while elevating brand perception/awareness/consideration
  • Lead the ongoing development of an inspiring, compelling messaging framework to support Masterbrand content strategy; Infuse this messaging across Sales Support, Recruitment and Talent Experience initiatives to create surprising ‘brand moments’ across the client/customer experience
  • Partner with business planning team to ideate and deliver provocative/edgy/bold marketing campaigns and content that support Kelly’s BU specialty practices
  • Translate understanding and adoption of Kelly’s brand framework across internal operations, creating brand advocates that can carry the message effectively
  • Represent marketing’s challenger brand strategy within key marketing deliverables, such as Kelly’s social conversations, mobile apps, website and talent improvement initiatives

Brand Research & Insights

  • Infuse Client/B2B brand research and insights across prioritized communication channels; Including the ongoing refinement of a B2B brand messaging framework
  • Infuse Momentum Seeker brand research and insights across prioritized communication channels; Including the ongoing refinement of a B2C brand messaging framework
  • Analyzing client & consumer insights, to inform sales support, talent acquisition and consumer brand activation initiatives

Brand Leadership

  • Align directly with marketing leadership to architect and oversee Masterbrand strategy of Kelly’s online and offline consumer and client environments
  • Strong mentorship and team management, including up-leveling team members as needed in support of world-class consumer brand performance for Kelly
  • Evangelize Kelly’s global brand platform, to ensure it is amplified across marketing and operational communications & experiences

  • Understand the larger financial picture and drive positive impact towards Kelly’s Recruitment, Marketing, and Business objectives
  • Fluid at building relationships to lead the work effort of cross functional team members
  • Strong interpersonal skills, innovative attitude, agile, proactive, strategic and a strong/collaborative/inclusive team player
  • Experience developing and managing budgets
  • Ability to develop valued relationships with senior-level stakeholders, based upon broad knowledge of marketing and consumer brand insights
  • Manage challenging situations and recommend effective solutions (aka, problem solver)
  • Must be outcome/results driven and have demonstrated ability to produce bold/edgy/provocative work
  • Leadership level, insightful command of research/intel, analytics and measurement, online and offline channels, etc…
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask and strong organizational skills required
  • Strong presentation skills among senior leadership

Qualifications Required:

  • Marketing Experience and/or Education in Marketing fields
  • 10+ years in strategic marketing (client- or agency-side) roles in which an aptitude for game-changing ideas, industry-leading campaigns have been demonstrated
  •  10% travel required

Salary range would be between $96,500 - $135,100
