The Lead Generation Consultant is an experienced professional in lead generation (“cold calling expert”) to become part of an exciting new area within the Kelly Education Business Unit
The Lead Generation Consultant will assist in the development, planning, and execution of prospecting campaigns.  The Lead Generation Consultant will generate and/or assess incoming sales leads for Kelly Education K-12, Tutoring, and Perm Para, and Higher Ed verticals.  This individual will conduct research and analytics and then engage the subject matter experts and other sales professionals within Kelly for these purposes.   

Job Responsibilities
Make contact with the client company by making “cold calls” “warm call” and/or follow-up calls to assess the size, scope and appropriate contact for the opportunity. 
Partner in developing and implementing plans and strategies with Sales Team. 
Articulate the value proposition of the product and service to create viable prospects. 
Be the initial point of contact in generating leads, cold calling, prospecting/sourcing new business from the ground up.
Research additional information about prospective clients, i.e. growth trends, workforce changes, workforce needs, contact names, etc. using third party resources.  Ensure that this information is documented appropriately.
Generate new opportunities with various-level contacts using a variety of creative approaches.
Follow up on any referrals, webinar lists, etc. to develop prospective sales leads and determine if contact is buyer, where they are in the buying cycle with what potential solution.
Understand workforce solutions that differentiate Kelly Education in the marketplace and increase our likelihood of winning new business and retaining existing clients.
Position Kelly Education as an expert in workforce solutions by incorporating industry trends and research into an initial cold call with a prospective client.
Provide salesperson and/or sales team with client briefings on key information they need to know in order to pursue the deal.
Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities, including pre-call research, sales calls, e-mail and planned next step activities.
• Must be comfortable in cold calling/sourcing at all levels within organizations to obtain prospects 
• Proven ability to successfully generate new sales leads and consistently achieve overall prospecting goals
• Understanding how to leverage social media contacts into prospects a plus
• Results oriented and accountable for activity based on metrics
• Ability to work in a fast paced, intense work culture and have the ability to adapt to constant changes and competing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to build client relationships at all levels of the organization internally and externally 
• Exceptional sales, analytical, communication, interpersonal, consultative & negotiation skills
• Results driven and deadline-oriented
• Proactive and persistent methodology to the sales approach (manage around gate-keepers)
• Understand and articulate the available Kelly product and solutions offerings to elicit initial client interest.
Solid business acumen that reflects the ability to grasp complex solutions. 
• Strong internet search, PC and sales database skills- outlook, outlook calendar, Excel.
• Experience with Salesforce.com not required but would be helpful (other CRM tools)
• Program/Project management experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred in Business or Communications or equivalent work experience 

Required: 3+ years of Sales and/or customer services experience, preferred experience in outsourced solutions, staffing services
