4469 - Finance Manager, Troy, MI
Function as the in-house subject matter expert relating to accounting and recognition of revenue from contracts with customers, including consulting with Contracts Law, Sales, Operation Finance and other departments as needed, performing customer contract reviews, designing and operating related financial controls, and conducting periodic training
Provide U.S. GAAP technical accounting and financial controls training and support, including technical accounting assessments, due diligence for potential acquisitions, coordination with third parties
Provide support for other special accounting/controls projects as assigned.
- Bachelors' degree in Finance or Accounting; Masters’ degree preferred
- 7 years in Accounting or Financial Controls/Audit
Strong communication skills, ability to work with high level management, solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting and auditing concepts as well as Sarbanes-Oxley ICFR and SEC reporting requirements, strong analytical and PC skills, strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently.
