This team member is responsible for handling various tasks to ensure the successful servicing of our KES Customers, KES Substitutes and KES Branches.  These tasks can include and are not limited to: providing service via telephone, email, and online chat.  Other tasks can include general service center functions, assisting various KES Teams, or other projects related to KES business.  KAST Engagement Specialists can be the primary point of contact for our KES Customers, KES Substitutes and KES Branches.  Being the primary point of contact is a critical role that requires the highest level of customer service and the ability to deal with a variety of different types of situations.  This role also requires a high level of professionalism, team work, communication skills and the ability to work independently when necessary. This is a computer-based role which is highly dependent on continually changing technology. The Engagement Specialist will consistently be adapting to new technological developments within current operational web applications, as well as learning new applications as we serve our customers by proudly maintaining the latest industry standards.

Responsibilities & Job Duties

-Handle customer work demand via phone, email and online chat.

-Assist our KES Substitutes via phone, email and online chat.

-Provide support to our KES Branches via phone, email and online chat.

-Provide detailed documentation on each work demand task via internet based tools.

-Communicate all necessary items and issues to the team via internet based tools.

-Properly escalate all necessary service issues to the appropriate Team Leaders

-Provide support and complete tasks on various KES Projects that are outside of the daily work demand.

-Stay up to date on all KES processes and procedures via internet based tools and training sessions.

-Provide peer level support and assistance to fellow team members on daily work demand, tasks and projects as necessary.  

Qualifications

Minimum education required:  HS Diploma required

Minimum experience required: 2+ years customer services, talent management, education, or staffing experience

Required Skills: Strong communication skills, Strong computer based proficiencies, Can quickly learn new and changing web-based applications, ability to make quick decisions, ability to work in an agile environment, call center knowledge preferred, business correspondence, Experience in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and common web browsers
