The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for directing and driving talent acquisition, recruitment marketing and talent supply strategies in support of the Science, Engineering and Technology team.

In this strategic role, the senior manager will plan, develop, implement, and measure marketing strategies and integrated digital campaigns to attract, recruit and redeploy top talent.

She/He and will manage budget and investment decisions aimed at driving ROI through creative, insightful and agile, modern marketing campaigns, tactics and approaches to reach/engage/acquire candidates.

This role will report into the business unit Snr Marketing Director to ensure alignment with respect to specific value propositions, B2C messaging and channel strategies.

This role will partner closely with the Talent, Insights & Experience team as well as Brand, Integrated Marketing Innovation (IMI), PR, Strategic Insights, etc. to ensure complete talent delight and alignment with Kelly’s sourcing, acquisition, messaging, and engagement strategies.


Responsibilities:

Introduce the Kelly Science, Engineering and Technology brands as the top destination for SET jobs to our B2C audience. Leverage campaigns, owned and paid channels and communication to increase awareness, familiarity and favorability of our brands. Collaborate with Marketing team to define B2C brand messaging and experience that differentiates Kelly from our competitors. 

Develop talent personas across 3 domains (Science, Engineering, and Technology). Deeply understand talent’s needs and pain points. Identify appropriate sourcing and marketing levers within the funnel to attract those candidates.

Lead content strategy for B2C across owned, earned, and paid channels including social media, email, website, white papers, and search and other digital advertising to build an actively engaged audience.

Launch Performance-driven campaigns to fill our pipeline and to fill our orders with talent. Work with Marketing team and business partners to leverage data and analytics to establish performance-driven B2C campaigns aligned to business priorities. Interface with internal team leads to develop candidate marketing/employer brand awareness and acquisition plans for key, strategic priorities. Coordinate efforts of cross functional marketing teams including IMI, Brand, PR and Research.

Use storytelling to bring to life the impact our talent is making (from researching cures to breast cancer to building the latest in clean tech that will help counteract climate change) and our DE&I efforts across channels to attract talent and clients. 

Leverage our owned channels and specialty content to grow our talent audience and engage them. 

Develop a culture of testing and learning to innovate on how we drive acquisition, engagement, and churn reduction at each stage of the funnel.

Strategic marketing planning. Develop an annual B2C strategy plan. Maintain a leadership position with respect to turning relevant industry-wide developments and trends in staffing, employer branding, recruitment marketing and talent engagement, as well as trends related to Kelly’s supply and demand, into innovative messaging and talent acquisition and engagement strategies, resources, toolkits, etc. positioning Kelly Science, Engineering and Technology as the destination for top talent. Coordinate efforts of cross functional marketing teams including resources from Talent Insights and Experience, IMI, Brand, PR and Research.

Communication. Direct ongoing communications strategy to keep Kelly’s recruiter community informed/engaged including a full-loop feedback process to ensure innovations are identified and acted upon and adjust campaigns to align with changing business requirements.

Building out the Key metrics and work with IMI, IT and Talent Insights & Experience to track and analyze performance of Talent Marketing initiatives across each stage of the funnel. Improve marketing results over time, identifying trends, and making adjustments to drive efficiency.


Skills Needed:

A highly analytical, data-driven growth marketer with 5-7+ years of marketing experience, with demonstrable success in both acquisition and lifecycle marketing. Previous working experience preferably as a Recruitment Marketing Specialist for 5-7+ year(s), but candidates with previous working experience for 5-7+ year(s) in Recruiting, Marketing or Advertising are also welcome to apply.

Soft Skills

Polished professional with effective interpersonal skills and the ability to secure buy-in       from key stakeholders for new concepts and programs.

Ability to interface with executives and senior management, lead teams and collaborate      quickly and effectively in a matrixed environment and with cross-functional teams.

Highly self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and under tight timelines.


Hard skills

Expertise in multi-stage demand generation funnels and related technologies, including marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot), tech that enables ABM (e.g., Bombora, 6Sense,

etc), CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and data tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI) along with all of the major digital and social platforms

Mastery of digital growth channels, including SEO/SEM, social, affiliates 

Knowledge of recruitment marketing/employer branding concepts, trends and technologies


Qualifications Required:

Business, Marketing, or other related field of study

5-7 years of experience in Marketing, Recruiting, Recruitment Marketing, Talent Acquisition and Digital Marketing

10% travel required
