Kelly is looking for a Sales People Leader in the northeast to direct a team of Sales Professionals to implement the sales strategy for a portfolio of local retail businesses.  Must live in the tri-state area, NY-NJ-CT.

 

You will be responsible for expanding and improving Kelly's business relationship with prospective and new customers to contribute to improved sales growth, profitability, customer happiness, and market share. Increase sales and profit through effective negotiations. Handle expense to sales ratios to optimize efficiency and profitability within budget.

 

Crucial Functions

  • Implement business plans and sales strategies with the field organization for new customers and prospects by reviewing and supervising financial indicators; using multiple sources of driven data; applying and using sales data and information; lead preparation efforts for proposals that address financial considerations and define value; meeting with decision-makers to deliver presentations and close deals.
  • Initiate customer relationships; corporate, field, and external by communicating with key decision-makers, identifying and understanding their needs; positioning Kelly products and services to address their needs and make valuable contributions to their business; understanding and aligning with prospect's desire to build preferences to use Kelly as a supplier
  • Establish and maintain an ongoing sales funnel of targeted and qualified prospects and expand the business opportunity by involving field and corporate subject matter experts; making presentations to customer organizations to introduce Kelly products and services and closing the business.
  • Clearly communicates roles and responsibilities and holds employees accountable for delivering results. Instill a growth mindset in the sales team. Drive teamwork among individuals, teams, and across the enterprise. Provide feedback and mentorship to the team to ensure growth and sales expectations are being met. Provide regular constructive feedback and development discussions with employees.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in business or related area of study preferred.
  • 5 + years demonstrated ability with a focus in recruiting or staffing operations management needed.
  • 4 + years proven track record in people management.
  • Travel up to 40% within geography.
