Support the definition, creation and use of labor market insights and analytics to drive Business Unit (BU) growth activities, inform internal business planning and product development efforts and elevate Kelly’s brand awareness and perception in the marketplace. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with manager to define and deliver labor market analytics/insights to support a broad range of information needs across sales, account management, recruiting, marketing, strategy and product development. 
  • Leverage subscription-based tools (EMSI, Talent Neuron, SIA, etc), public labor market data sources (BLS, Stats Canada, ONS), and other secondary research to “tell the story” around current labor market conditions and trends, enable data-driven program improvement recommendations and position Kelly as talent advisors and thought leaders.
  • Support additional market, industry and competitive research projects as needed (market sizing/share, buyer/industry trends and insights, etc.) to inform internal planning, product development and investment decisions. 
  • Work independently to define and develop labor market analytics tools and dashboards to automate routine requests, increase access and use of labor market data, and drive more consultative relationships with our clients and prospects.
  • Support thought leadership content development working across the marketing organization (business unit marketing leads, PR, etc.).
  • Continually monitor and stay abreast of global labor market conditions, trends, and new data sources/tools to evolve and expand the team’s value to the organization, Work with vendors on new capabilities, contract renewals and budgeting as needed.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, market research, data analytics, economics, statistics or related field.
  • 3+ years in business/market/competitive intelligence, labor market analytics. Some staffing industry experience preferred.
  • Experience working with labor market data/tools (EMSI, TalentNeuron, BLS) strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable finding compelling trends/insights from large datasets.  Proficient using Microsoft platform suite (Excel, PPT, Teams)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) strongly preferred.
  • Experience conducting secondary market research
