7746 - Billing Analyst - Virtual Role

The Global Financial and Business Solutions (GFBS) Billing Analyst supports billing for Kelly’s customers in North America (US, Canada, and Puerto Rico). This is a virtual role.
This position includes performing the work instructions specific to the department within the GFBS organization to ensure accuracy and timeliness of service and product delivery. The position requires the ability to work independently with people of multiple grade levels throughout Kelly as well as external customers to ensure that specific job requirements are met or exceeded. The position requires the ability to research in depth business process and customer issues that pertain to the work instructions specific to the position with the objective of reaching resolutions that meet or exceed objectives with a positive financial impact to the company without negatively impacting customers. Persons in this position will be expected to recommend changes to management of existing processes where efficiencies can be gained without negatively impacting customers.
Audit, edit & process all assigned accounts, including strategic, complex and/or high visibility/exposure accounts based on determined billing cycle under deadlines and while multi-tasking. Work independently to prioritize accounts for communication to management and branches by level of importance, invoice volume and urgency with regard to billing issues that may affect the collection of the receivables.
Communicate directly with internal and external customers at all levels to resolve Billing issues. This involves facilitating meetings with appropriate members/levels of the organization. This includes purposefully pursuing a favorable resolution to the issue(s) while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Accept, reject and/or process incoming adjustments for select customers each day to resolve customer billing %
Timely respond to customer and branch requests as required.
Assist with special projects, as defined by management. Assist in training on standard methodologies, operational improvements, new procedures, new accounts etc. as defined by management. Identify and implement efficiencies within the department where possible.
Manually validate, update and purge account instructions as needed to maintain accurate procedural documentation.

Preferred Middle Office Knowledge - Basic understanding of accounts receivable, payroll, billing, and SSPA systems (GFBS roles) or knowledge and management of third-party VMS technology.
Adaptability - Demonstrated ability to continuously evolve, adjust to and embrace changes in the business environment, offer alternatives, and drive solutions.
Communication Skills - Be able to express ideas and thoughts in a logical concise manner, both oral and written.
Contract Compliance, Concepts and Principles - Understand and be able to implement GBSs standard operating procedures.
Information Technology Expertise - Understands IT concepts, procedures, and processes. Effectively integrates with other functional areas of the company and builds expertise based on the needs of the business and the position. Comfortable with technology. Knowledge of VMS Technology.

Technology - Intermediate Microsoft skills; familiar with internet use & email. General computer literacy is a must.
Associates or Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience
3 years + Accounting, Business, Finance, Accounts Receivable, Billing or Payroll. Experience with high volume, high dollar billing/collections preferred.
