7951 - Safety, Health and Environmental Manager - Virtual Canada
This position will directly utilize, implement and further co-develop Kelly's Canada Safety and Workers’ Compensation programs/processes designed to reduce/eliminate the severity and frequency of workplace injuries and illnesses. This position interactively supports the provinces within Canada, provides direct internal and external customer consultation; provides education, training and overall safety and Workers’ Compensation within Kelly; identifies and analyzes business safety risks; develops and implements safety strategies and programs; performs quantitative analysis of safety and workers' compensation issues as well as recommends and implements solutions; manages problem account reviews, identifies opportunities for improvement and implements change; serves as subject matter expert for safety.
Qualifications Required:
HS Diploma or Associates Degree in Safety preferred
3-5 years experience in manufacturing
or construction safety
30% travel
Skills Required: Strong knowledge
of safety and health programs, policies, and prevention/intervention strategies.
Ability to establish credibility with customers and work well with all level of
management. Strong written/verbal communication, excellent organizational
and time-management skills. Strong knowledge of CCOHS and Provincial
rules and regulations and Canada’s workers' compensation laws. Experience in
contesting and abating regulatory citations. Very strong verbal, communications, technical, and computer
skills.
