The role will be responsible for the organic social media strategy across our owned channels, maintaining a monthly editorial calendar, creating video assets for social media and website, developing static thumb-stopping images, writing copy for social media posts, website, and CRM, scheduling all posts from the editorial calendar, responding and engaging with users, analyzing and reporting on monthly performance and making data-based optimizations for channel growth and engagement. You will use storytelling to share out our noble purpose and create bold, exciting and hard-hitting content. This individual will be considered a Subject Matter Expert in both creative development and engagement for the organic social media strategy, trends and insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Own, create, and schedule posts in timely manner for organic monthly content calendar for current owned social channels (YouTube, Linked In, Twitter), and possible new social channels to drive engagement and traffic to site by working with marketing, PR, and domain specialty teams.
  • As needed, develop and post urgent or time-sensitive requests outside of the monthly content calendar
  • Recommend optimizations and/or integration of new content trends to improve performance based on trend analysis and engagement insights
  • Build followers on owned media platforms through engaging creative
  • Engage with the community via comments & DMs in a timely manner as the voice of Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology and Telecom.
  • Bring to the company’s attention any crisis management issue on social channel
  • Build YouTube Channel and playlists with uploads and strong thumbnails
  • Track and report on social media KPIs and benchmarks for monthly performance
  • Craft B2B & B2C organic social media content that follows social media standard methodologies for each social media platform
  • Interview individuals and lead video production (script, shoot, edit video and add title and end cards) for video series.
  • Write engaging social captions and copy with a strong sense of brand storytelling to bolster audience engagement and drive them to action
  • Design thumb stopping content (images, video, gif) to insure consistent and engaging messaging across social media platforms ensuring standard methodologies are implemented
  • Develop copy and introductions for YouTube, website landing pages, and email to support social media themes
  • Handle and update repository of marketing materials and collateral that is on the asset management platform, landing pages and website

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interactive Marketing, Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, Creative Arts, Social Media, Journalism or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3 years in Social Media Marketing and a minimum of 2 years in Interactive Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital advertising/marketing agency, creative agency, creative work, design work
  • The hourly rate will be $30-$40 per hour depending upon experience

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrate success in developing and executing B2C/B2B Social Media cross-functional copywriting and content on various social platforms that engages, informs and motivates.
  • Be a brand storyteller for Kelly and make an impact by leading the content development to reach new talent and clients and develop new processes or standard methodologies.
  • Creativity to create hard hitting, bold, unique, and powerful stories
  • Experience with social media scheduling and performance tools (such as Hootsuite, Meltwater, Sprout Social) and also native social media platforms.
  • Creative development and experience with developing videos and static images through Adobe, Canva and other video platforms
  • Knowledge of content development and strategy (copy, visual, audio, video) to best reach a target audience
  • Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, environment.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to complete projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision
  • Can communicate effectively to internal and external partners
  • Strong collaborator
  • Staffing industry experience is beneficial
  • Social content portfolio recommended but not required
