Operations Administrative Assistant

Location:  Candidates must be local to Hillsboro, OR area. Required to work onsite in Hillsboro, OR at least 2 days per week.

This position includes customer service, project work that requires creating and revising current policies and/or procedures, researching and analyzing information, and handling escalated customer services issues.  The person in this role will also be responsible for developing and improving work processes, instructions and solutions This position serves as a resource for temporary employees.

Customer-related service responsibilities include taking and filling orders, managing the order life cycle, and resolving problems.  Temporary employee-related service responsibilities include screening, on-boarding, training, conducting orientations, resolving problems, and managing employee relations issues.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate various processes to support field and temporary employees.  These include payroll support, invoicing, customer requirements, on-boarding etc. 
  • Provide direct and indirect support to new and existing temporary employees. This includes managing the on-boarding life cycle, educating the temporary employees on policies and processes (e.g., timekeeping), researching and resolving payroll and issues, and coaching and counseling as necessary. Participate in projects as needed.
  • Research and analyze information in order to support centralized field processes.  Develop process improvements to ensure we are effectively assisting our field and temporary employees.  Participate in projects as needed based on business/customer demands.
  • Facilitate the new employee hiring process with customer hiring managers. This includes managing the order life cycle, providing on-boarding status reports, researching and resolving payroll and billing issues, and reporting as needed.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum Years’ Experience Required:  2-3 years           
  • In What Capacity:  Business- coordinator, administrative assistant, analysts, project specialist

Skills Required: 

  • Strong communication skills written and verbal
  • Ability to be proactive and anticipate the needs within the specific area of service
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations on process and procedures that are more efficient
  • Analytical ability- research and resolve issues using data
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

This job can be performed anywhere except in the state of Colorado. Colorado residents will not be considered for this job posting.
