To help us grow, we’re seeking a Marketing Director to help us transform and execute our marketing strategy for the Kelly Professional & Industrial business unit.

The right candidate will develop strategy and drive the execution of marketing campaigns designed to acquire and retain customers (B2B) and talent/workers (B2C) for Kelly’s light industrial, office/clerical, contact center, and accounting/finance domains.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Planning and Execution
• Develop differentiated marketing strategies that generate a pipeline of qualified B2B and B2C leads for Kelly Professional & Industrial’s sales and recruiting teams.
• Build winning campaigns in concert with our Brand and Performance Marketing teams, using a range of paid and organic marketing channels and tactics, including social media, web/digital, email marketing, video, SEO, referral marketing, account-based marketing, PR/communications, and more.

Strategic Planning & Intelligence
• Contribute thought leadership, insights, competitive intelligence, and informed opinions to senior management as it pertains to strategy. Execute strategy with team or business leaders.

Segmentation and Targeting
• Develop, improve and oversee various analytics and customer dashboards to provide insight into current and future clients with the most attractive lifetime value.
• Utilize understanding of marketing automation platforms to drive operational efficiency
• Work with the Professional & Industrial marketing team to execute automated targeting and nurturing campaigns to contacts that fit our ideal customer profile.
• Deploy account-based marketing tactics to attract identified key accounts to Kelly.

Sales and Operations Enablement
• Develop, measure, and optimize messages and offers that drive brand engagement, increase loyalty, and enhance LTV, across the installed base of Kelly talent (B2C) and clients (B2B).
• Working very closely with senior sales leadership, develop annual strategic and tactical marketing plans that are consistent with—and supportive of—Kelly’s business development agenda relative to the designated market. These plans must be designed to drive the company’s most critical measures of performance and success: (1) new client acquisition; (2) existing client retention and satisfaction; and (3) cross-selling/up-selling additional Kelly solutions to existing clients.

Financial Delivery & Budget
• Manage and own the business unit marketing budget, work closely with marketing colleagues (Performance Marketing) to validate which programs are performing well, justifying incremental investment, or recommending alternate investments.

Team Leadership
• Lead and evolve this team as a committed ‘player-coach.’ This is a high-performing, metrics-driven, lean environment that appeals to entrepreneurial and growth-driven personalities. You will be responsible for building and shaping a highly effective Kelly marketing team by hiring, training, motivating, coaching, and setting direction for their entire team, both internal and external.

Skills Required:

• A digital native with an incredibly strong digital marketing acumen. Experience building, overseeing, and/or using martech stack tools to their fullest capacity.
• Strategic thinker and problem solver with a track record of developing and implementing actionable plans with measurable results.
• Significant experience with CRMs (Salesforce preferred) and marketing automation platforms (Hubspot preferred)
• Strong understanding of integrated marketing and communications best practices. Previous experience collaborating effectively with strategic communications/PR professionals.
• Excellent communication skills—listening, writing, editing, verbal–with attention to detail as well as the ability to distill complex and technical issues and ideas and organize them into meaningful messages.
• Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills; ability to work with and influence others both within marketing and throughout the organization.
• Ability to consult with peers and teams across functions on strategic objectives, messaging, and the most effective marketing channels.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes.
• Exceptional organizational skills, including attention to detail, execution, and multitasking skills
• Must possess business maturity and emotional intelligence
• Able to handle pressure well and work under deadlines
• Ability to measure and evaluate campaign performance and provide ROI measures

Qualifications Required:

• 7-10 years of B2C and B2B progressive marketing experience at the senior management level
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in marketing, PR, business or other related field of study
• 20% travel
