This role is responsible for monitoring financial activities for customers, using e-procurement tools, and managing relationships between the customer and the approved vendors. 

The Accounts Receivable Analyst will work with colleagues across the business and with customers to ensure all Credit control & AR activities/requirements are executed and adhered to following relevant country regulatory bodies. The purpose of this role is to promote a proactive approach to AR, through consistent and accurate Credit Control processes with Kelly, Vendors, and Clients.  

Individuals in this position will be expected to recommend changes to the management of existing processes where efficiencies can be gained without negatively impacting customers. 

The successful candidate should be able to be onsite at our Telford office at least once a week and eligible to work in the UK. 


Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Proactively contact customers to agree on open balances and address any missing items. 
  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
  • Enforce contractual terms and conditions for receivable balances.
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity, including any escalation actions. 
  • Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to mitigate any potential risk.
  • Review disputed bills to establish the validity of a claim. Where valid, progress with the appropriate contacts to resolve and enable the release of payment. 
  • Where payment is withheld with no valid reason, progress and follows the escalation process to ensure all concerned parties are apprised of the issue and support as required. 
  • Participate in meeting either online or face to face as required, to discuss and resolve customer issues. 
  • Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal AR inquiries.
  • Meet cash & debtor day targets set by the department (GFBS)
  • Propose to write off irrecoverable receivables, ensuring comprehensive supporting detail.
  • Ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management.
  • Undertake account reconciliations as required.
  • Ensure month-end activities’ deadlines are met as required.
  • Send out monthly client statements/letters as may be agreed from time to time.
  • Other duties as delegated from time to time by the GFBS manager or Finance Director or any other person designated in their absence
  • Assure that customers, employees, and Service Administration follow established processes and review/update process as required. Additionally, participate in system development for the improvement of account servicing.
  • Escalate when controls fail & if there are ill practices within the process to management.
  • Manage process by facilitating communication between the field, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy of reported revenue and expenses.
  • Document Work Instructions and process flows, and provide training and support to the supported OCG/Finance department

Qualifications
  • University Degree In any of these fields of study:  Finance, Business, Math, Billing, and Payroll or Relevant Experience
