The Global Pricing Director will support the Kelly Outsourcing and Consulting Business Unit, Sales, and Operations’ team to grow the practice areas of MSP, RPO, PPO, and Advisory Services.  They will help craft responses to RFP/RFIs in order to align the best solution for the client, and secure new business globally for Kelly.  This role will be client facing and is responsible for assessing customer requirements with internal sales partners; pricing and help design outsourcing solutions that engage the right service features and act as the Subject Matter Expert to effectively price outsourcing and consulting services for global customers and prospects.  They will also assist in developing pricing strategies, programs and tools to support the company profitability objectives; develop systems/tools to close pricing information gaps regarding cost, customer and competition.

Responsible for leading large and complex global pricing opportunities: 
  • Create a pricing model that accurately reflects the solution presented to a client. 
  • Assist bid team / Senior Management to achieve the target price and margin requirements by providing continuous feedback on overall cost impacts, solution alternatives, continuous improvement opportunities and relevant pricing alternatives and options. 
  • Evaluate pricing risks and mitigation strategies ensuring pricing integrity while also considering KOCG profitability guidelines and targets. 
  • Document pricing/solution assumptions and creating a client facing pricing language document with assumptions and pricing specific terms and conditions. 
  • Quality check peers work to learn, challenge, and verify the model is error free.  
  • Lead pricing approval meetings with Senior Leadership by explaining price, pricing alternatives, risks and sensitivities to price. 
  • Engage with client prospects to explain pricing and/or assist sales in negotiations.  
  • Ensure contracts are in line with company position on revenue recognition standards.  
  • Work on the largest and most complex deals for the organization 
  • Expand scope of role by taking on certain “solution design” elements such as Tax, Treasury requirements and other deliverables. 
  • Help in the training and day to day support with the team on:  Training opportunities, help on bids and detail reviews of their work and provide coaching to make a bid better. 
  • Assist in the development of innovative and user-friendly pricing models/tools to keep up with an ever changing and dynamic business environment and to close pricing information gaps regarding costs, customer and competition. 
  • Update pricing models and tools to reflect latest data to accurately cost/price. 
  • Lead and/or support strategic projects that create new products or service features or evolve our existing OCG solutions and products; recognizing that they may exist within the client environment, within the Kelly family of products/solutions or via the Kelly supplier network. 
  • Evaluate actual results vs. pricing to determine variances and make changes accordingly in future pricing opportunities, proactively identify opportunities for margin improvements, and develop systems/tools to close pricing information gaps regarding cost, customer and the competition, while supporting the company’s profitability objectives.

Requirements:
  • MBA or Equivalent preferred
  • Experience Outsourcing, Pricing, Consulting, Sales, Account Management, Finance
