As Digital Marketing Manager – Marketing Automation, you’ll act as a hands-on lead for our business unit marketing and sales teams in implementing effective HubSpot marketing automation campaigns, with effective integration with Salesforce CRM. As Kelly develops Marketing Hub email nurture streams, Sales Hub seller-driven sequences, landing pages for digital advertising, social media posting and workflows that integrate with Salesforce and Google Analytics, you will implement using best practices in HubSpot while guiding our teams in how to consistently execute against those standards. This role involves hands-on execution, collaboration across teams and clear communication of standards and approaches to others.

Essential Functions:

  • Handle marketing automation projects in an effective and timely manner that aligns with business and project goals. Engage internal teams and external vendors, as needed, to ensure a seamless delivery of required content.
  • Train distributed team of marketers and sellers to use the tools effectively. Your role is to empower their use as their trainer, hands-on guide and subject matter authority.
  • Handle technology platform effectively with an eye to the human operational processes and collaboration needed to drive impact.
  • Based on metrics provided by marketing analytics team, revise and adjust strategy to improve defined metrics to reach both B2B and B2C audiences. This includes continuous learning opportunities to stay up to date on ever-changing approaches and technologies so that standard methodologies can be put in place.
  • Partner with head of Performance Marketing to build out roadmap for evolution and growth of HubSpot Marketing and Sales platforms.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Working directly in HubSpot to build dynamic, data-driven marketing campaigns that involve landing pages, email campaigns, workflows and social media posting
  • Assessing data availability against project needs in order to determine operational requirements
  • Optimizing integration with Salesforce CRM and other internal systems as needed
  • Performing list and data management within various marketing automation technology platforms
  • Creating test lists and test cases; conducting QC of test cases and live data
  • Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of email marketing best practices, customer data management, segmentation and matrix development
  • Developing strong relationships with business unit marketing teams as you advise on program design, operational best practices, and technology innovations
  • Representing the Marketing Operations capability through knowledge share of implementing best practices and sharing across agency departments

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or work equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of Marketing Automation experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in a direct marketing environment with hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing and/or Sales Hub (preferably at a marketing agency).
  • Knowledge of email channel execution and journey orchestration. Experience with B2B and B2C audiences would be valuable.
  • Knowledge of best practices including channels, data security requirements, CAN-SPAM and GDPR compliance, etc.
  • Familiarity with the digital marketing environment and marketing technology landscape
  • Strong ability to instruct and coordinate in fast-paced, meticulous environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency and interest in process management to create workflow and campaign execution efficiencies
  • Detail oriented, organized, and a master multi-tasker
  • Strong written and communication skills – you’re articulate and poised
  • Excellent project management skills – you keep pace in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to work independently and within large cross departmental teams
  • Proficient with Microsoft business applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with HubSpot Sales Hub and with Salesforce CRM also beneficial
  • Travel up to 10%
