The Automation Senior (Sr) Solution Architect is a member of Kelly’s Automation Center. They are responsible for assisting in the full-lifecycle implementation of process automation solutions. This includes consultation, identification, assessment, and solution design using leading RPA/RDA (robotics process/desktop automation) applications and/or other automation technologies.

The Automation Sr Solution Architect is advanced in both technical and process solution design. They are responsible to build end-to-end solutions to digitize and automate business processes, improve customer experience, and reduce risk and cost. They consult with internal Kelly organizations to advise on the best solution design through strong knowledge and communication skills. This position works closely with business owners to identify business needs, document process and requirements and re-engineering of those processes to support development of automations and serving as a liaison between the technical team and the business.

Automation Consultation, Identification, Design and Improvement

  •  The Automation Sr Solution Architect would work with business owners to understand and translate Kelly’s internal business processes into automation processes utilizing RPA software
  • Responsible for the full life cycle delivery of the automated process ensuring the timely execution and quality development of automation solutions
  • Identify and evaluate: assess current state business processes and identify Use Case opportunities for process automation
  • Plan: Gather detailed process and requirements documentation - Create process maps (current & future state), requirements documentations, and bot design manuals (functional and system requirements).
  • Design: Analyze processes and requirements to create and/or re-engineer workflows and business processes, including process improvements, to deliver an automated process.
  • Develop: Collaborate with the Automation Developer(s) to communicate, consult and ensure full workflow configuration and coding of the automated workflows are executed to the designed business requirements.
  • Manages project scope, timeline, requirements documentation and sign-off; ensures change requests are documented and approved for project scope
  • Work and collaborate with project team members – Automation Center Leader, Solution Architects, Technical Lead, Developers and business resources

Experience and Skills:

·         Understanding and experience with RPA and other automation software (e.g., UiPath, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere, Outsystems, Pega, PowerPlatform); process and technical design flow; and automation best practices and limitations.

·          3+ years of continuous business process improvement and large-scale transformations (Six Sigma, Lean preferred)

·          Basic understanding of Project Management methodologies: PMI, Agile, Scrum

·          Strong communication skills (orally, written and listening) to effectively and in a constructive manner with management, peers, co-workers and external business partners and clients.
