9777 - Facilities Planning Manager
Kelly Services, Inc., seeks a Facilities Planning Manager in Bethesda, MD to: Provide mechanical engineering support services for the National Institutes of Health Central Utility Plant(CUP), Thermal Energy Storage System (TESS), and Industrial Water Storage System (IWS). Monitor and support senior mechanical engineering staff in collecting and analyzing facility data. Compose and provide CUP facility reports. Provide support to improve CUP optimization. Develop process flow documents from information gathered from stakeholders. Review design submissions with respect to Mechanical, Plumbing, and Controls systems to determine compliance with NIH-DRM, International Codes, and applicable standards. Provide support to perform root cause analysis and provide corrective action preventative action (CAPA) for mechanical systems. Review BAS/EMS controls documentation including programming, sequences, schematic diagrams, etc. Conduct trend analysis of engineering or historical data to pinpoint issues. Set up and format spreadsheets to analyze information. Coordinate the preparation of requests, memoranda, reports, forms, and mailings. Utilize the following tools and technologies: MATLAB, GD&T, OSI Soft PI system, PI Vision, PI SDK, Python, Jupyter Notebook, MS Office, Data Analysis, ISO Standards, ASTM standards.
Qualified applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a foreign equivalent, and 1 year of experience working as an Engineer, or a substantially similar position, performing the following duties: planning and coordinating activities concerned with the design, construction, modification, operation, and maintenance of equipment and machinery for a facility; collecting and analyzing facility data; developing operational protocols, efficiency evaluations, reliability improvements, and risk assessments of mechanical systems; Working with products and documents related to data analysis, using MATLAB and Python; Working with complex datasets to transform data into useful information to solve complex engineering challenges including collecting, processing, and performing statistical analysis; and utilizing the following tools and technologies: MATLAB, GD&T, OSI Soft PI system, PI Vision, PI SDK, Python, Jupyter Notebook, MS Office, Data Analysis, ISO Standards, ASTM standards.
