About the department

The purpose of this position is to support Novo Nordisk Inc.’s - APAC procurement team. In this position, the incumbent will work in a matrix organisation structure having a solid line reporting to Finance GBS, Procurement – Business Insights & Sourcing and dotted line to the Procurement Director, APAC.

 

GF Procurement is the offshoring unit of Global Procurement and is part of Finance GBS, Bangalore. Business Insights and Sourcing, team is a unit in GF Procurement that is overall responsible for delivering and supporting global sourcing and procurement managers with End to End Sourcing Project Support, spend analytics, Supplier management, Contracting, Reports & Dashboards, and COUPA System support.

 

The position

In this position, you will be responsible for providing high quality analysis and decision support to Region APAC Procurement. Supporting Procurement professionals in eRFX build and eRFX analysis such as bid-grid, negotiation support and supplier evaluation across Region APAC and also you need to support in category strategy development in terms of Spend baseline analysis

Furthermore, you will be involved in supporting data extracts, reporting and analysis, and participation in weekly vendor meetings and running small eRFX with support of procurement manager. All tasks require clear written and verbal communication, effective stakeholder relationship management, project management and effective global collaboration.

Additionally, you will have to gather business requirements and manage demand management data for various business units and analyse by utilizing spend data. Demonstrated success dealing remotely; will need to interact regularly with senior stakeholders in different regions of Novo Nordisk and with suppliers on a regular basis.

Finally, you would also be involved in demonstrated track record of applying influencing, persuasion, presentation skills, Experience in conflict resolution and your tasks will also include driving internal controls and publishing monthly / yearly performance dashboards and presentations

 

Qualifications

We are expecting you to hold the below skills and knowledge:

 

         You have completed a bachelor’s degree from a reputed university. You have 3-5 years of experience in sourcing & procurement, from a leading organisation.

         Meeting & Events Category exposure will be an added advantage for the role

         Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Spend Data Analytics

         Experience in COUPA or other ERP’s for eSourcing, Contract management & procurement functions will be an advantage

         You are a strong communicator, and have experience in global stakeholder management

         You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and evaluate correlations and synthesize data driven insights
