The Role


We have a new opportunity for a Business Development Manager within our sales team based in Auckland. This role will be responsible for seeking out new business opportunities within the commercial sector across all lines of business within our existing customer base and by developing and onboarding new customers.

 
Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new customers across multiple industries
  • Develop and implement a sustainable sales plan to achieve financial targets
  • Achieve targeted sales budget as set within the requirements of the overall company financial and operational goals 
  • Prepare sales quotations, tenders and proposals with the support of technical estimator team
  • Foster relationships with internal personnel
  • Effectively manage work- flow through our CRM

 

 

Must have

  • Proven success within the sales or account management field
  • Current full driver's license 
  • Presentation skills 
  • Negotiation skills 
  • High level of written & verbal skills 
  • Ability to successfully secure a Security Certificate of Approval

 

Nice to have

  • Business related tertiary qualification preferred
  • Experience in the security or technology industries
  • Sales qualifications or courses preferred
