Role: Associate Manager – Field Force Effectiveness

Location : Bangalore

 

Key responsibilities:

         Responsible for developing advanced analytic solutions that are scalable focusing on Field Force Effectiveness

         Effectively manages process transitions/migrations

         Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills

         Ensures effective cross-training of resources

         Initiates and facilitates the sharing of process knowledge and best practices within the team and across the organization

         Proactively identifies, recommends and implements process improvements in procedures of team assignments.

         Ensures stakeholder satisfaction by working closely with stakeholder teams in identifying the key process drivers/issues and completion/solution of the same

         Highly self-motivated to work independently, within delegated authority, with minimal or no supervision

         Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team, and a clear understanding of how assigned responsibilities impact other processes and the work of other people

         Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills

         Proactively works on creating adequate backups for the existing processes to reduce people dependency

         Demonstrates supervisory and analytical skills including coordinating with the team in prioritizing tasks and balancing workload across the team

         Builds, leads and inspires the team through effective coaching & development

Key project management:

         Owning, driving, delivering critical business projects with high complexity as a SME

         Leading project management for IOSO stakeholders with multiple stakeholder interfacing and providing strategic directions and insights

         Independently drive and deliver projects

         Designing and implementing new analytical techniques to set benchmark for world class analytics

 

Main job tasks:

Responsible for developing advanced analytic solutions that are scalable across and drive critical business decisions

         Design, execute and manage all aspects of superior custom qualitative and quantitative field force effectiveness delivery value chain projects and develops analytical solutions to cater to the requirements of the stakeholders

         Should manage the team working on BI platform like Qlik Sense, Tableau, Alteryx etc.

         Lead the strategic development of analyses for core analytics processes to drive better fact-based decision making with a focus on the ability to scale the approach across the organization

         Manages project tasks, timelines and delivers all aspects of qualitative and quantitative projects

         Developing and maintaining high quality recurring reports in line with stakeholders’ sales force initiatives

         Ensures timely delivery of data, analytics and strategic consulting to support stakeholders’ marketing initiatives

         Interpret large amounts of raw data into coherent information and respond decisively to current and forecast trends in technology, consumer behaviour, sales trends and market conditions

 

Makes strategic recommendations that address key business questions, based on research results

         Create and foster strong strategic partnerships across both Marketing and Commercial Effectiveness and other key stakeholders in the organization

         Act as a reliable, trusted and unbiased consultant by considering wider issues, structure the complex data analysis to “tell the story”, and when needed argue the viewpoint, listening to all views, collaborate on the right solution, and synthesize recommendations coherently

 

Build, lead and inspire the team

         Support onboarding the right skillset to deliver high value work

         Ensure cross-training of team members

         Contribute to building a high performing, high impact team, which inspire commitment and confidence of senior leadership and key stakeholders across the organization

         Provide direction and manages the work processes and output of the team

Education

         Masters Degree (preferably within quantitative/management discipline) from a well-recognized institute

         Under-graduate degree in Pharma (BPharm), Science/Biotechnology (BSc), Engineering (BTech)

         Good academic track records and grades

 

Experience

         Should have 6+ years of Pharma Analytics, previous experience in diabetes care and biopharmaceuticals would be an advantage

         Experience in Delivering Commercial Effectiveness Value chain projects like Terr Alignment, Field Force Sizing, Segmentation and Targeting, Field force Target Setting, Incentive Computation and  analytics, Multi-Channel Customer Engagement etc.

         Strong exposure to Commercial Effectiveness reporting through BI based CRM Systems

         Experience in Multi-Channel Customer Engagements activities and orchestrated customer engagement

         In depth knowledge of sales operations and marketing process; sound understanding of knowledge in areas of therapy, laws in the pharmaceutical industry
