The opportunity is pivotal to the success of our European bids. You will support the sales team in managing the overall bid process building support material and helping shape the way we go to market. Working with the VP of Strategic Sales and the wider European Sales team you will act like a conductor of the orchestra pulling everything together.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Work with the team to evaluate if we bid or reject opportunities
  • Ceating and maintaining bid Libary
  • Manage pipeline tracker and produce sales reports
  • Own the bid process for multinational deals across Europe
  • Creation of a tool kit for local sales teams to support national bids
  • Creation of solution specific material for new and existing products
  • Planning, management and coordination of bid/proposal process to strict deadlines
  • Full oppertunity alanysis to ensure bid/proposal is relevant and responded to effictively.
  • Assisting in the solution creation and development phases
  • Ensuring internal approval to pricing proposals and associated contractual requirements
  • Engaging with all relevant areas of the business to include Sales, Finance, Operations, HR, Compliance and Risk
  • Coordination and management of bid team to strict project timelines
  • Production of creative, bespoke, engaging and compliant ITT, RFI, RFP and RFQ documentation
  • Management of proposals via e-portals
  • Creation of supporting literature and presentation tools to aid full sales cycle
  • Creation and management of central proposal library
  • Gather and report upon all wins and losses to aid future development of bid function
  • Assist the wider Sales team through opportunity researching and trend analysis
  • Daily support of customer engagement team to drive sales
  • Ad hoc initiatives   relating to winning and developing accounts

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

 

This is a small but close nit team so we are looking for someone who can be self sufficient when needed, can play well with others and is comfortable with voicing their opinion to ensure the strongest solution is presented to the customer. Ideally well organized, because lets face it most sales people aren’t! and we need someone to make sure the team meet deadlines and help organise the team to complete bids and help us manage the sales process. Whilst this role can be based anywhere in Europe exceptional written English is essential for the role.
