Senior Sales Administrator



Job Description:

The Senior Sales Administrator plays a critical role in supporting Controls Sales Team (Both Install and Retrofit teams). Above his/her daily general administrative duties, he/she has to pick up certain level of business related knowledge and is part of the significant support team behind Controls LOB’s business growth. As some of the examples, he/she has to handle the below tasks critical to sales activities and team performance.


1) handle and filter general customer’s enquiries and direct to the relevant department / sales person

2) booking in of sales order including liaising closely with sales person on paperwork, approvals, pushing for deadlines etc

3) liaison point with DBC on customer creation, banker’s guarantee request etc

4) Assist sales person on major direct tender bids involving multiple submissions, pre-qualification exercises etc

5) Facilitator for Toll Gate process  (TG-2) of sales to project operations handover after job booked in


Job Role:

1) Administrative Support

-Support the team on general administrative needs

-Assist and support new sales on boarding


2) Customer Support

-Direct customer enquiries to relevant sales team/person

-Follow up general customer enquiries

5) Sales Support

-Support daily sales activities as required by sales team. Eg. Direct tender bids

-Support pre-sales customer enquiry. Eg. Pre-qualification exercise


6) Talent Development

-Participate and be aware of sales process to support sales team

-Build on soft skills in dealing with different sales person

Qualifications External



  • ITE/Poly candidates
  • Open for entry level candidates
  • PC literacy plus good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SAP system is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Must have good interpersonal, self-starter and detail oriented
