Job Location: Bangalore

Exp : 4 to 10 years

NP: Immediate to 60 days

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To support the SDLC activities pertaining to Avionics software application. The activities include:
  • Understanding the Software evolution
  • Software Specification analysis
  • Software Preliminary Design analysis
  • Software detailed desialysis
  • Test Plan preparation for the Hardware/Software Integration testing (HSIT)
  • Test Plan preparation for the Software Validation Testing (VT)
  • Test Means preparation for HSIT and VT
  • Test Scripts update for automated tests
  • Functional and Regression testing
  • Performance Testing and Software Margins Evaluation
  • Test Report creation for HSIT and VT
  • User validation of the testing tools

• Investigate System/Software related issues received from Airlines/Customer support team
• Technical Reviews
• Audit/Certification Support

Skills:

• Good knowledge on any of the Avionics systems, preferably FWS or FMS.
• Good in C programming
• Strong debugging skills
• Good Knowledge on SDLC
• Testing Levels - Integration & Validation testing
• Good Exposure to DO178B/C & Certification process
• Good Knowledge on communication protocols like ARINC 429, AFDX, etc
• Knowledge on Configuration Management and Change Management.
