Job Description:

EDUCATION:

Master’s degree in Thermal Sciences or Thermal Engineering is required

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute Aero thermal analysis projects using commercial FE tools with minimal supervision.
• Work with Project leads (offshore/onshore) in understanding the scope, boundary condition, material models, type of analysis etc.
• Execute Aero thermal analysis as per the standard work
• Understand and Adhere to the quality requirements
• Prepare detailed thermal analysis reports substantiating the results and present to Project leads/Customer

SKILLS / COMPETENCE:

• Possess exceptional technical, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Perform thermal analysis of aerospace engines using commercial FEA software.s
• Create 2D, 3D, and 2D/3D Finite Element models of components, ranging from simple to complex, utilizing ANSYS-APDL or Workbench, with both hexahedral and tetrahedral elements.
• Able to develop or modify APDL Macros.
• Proficient in calculating heat transfer coefficients manually.
• Advantageous to have proficiency in scripting using APDL, VB, and Python.
• Proficient in using CAD tools like UNIGRAPHICS and Space Claim.
• Experienced in working with CAE software including ANSYS, ANSYS Workbench, and Fluent.
• Familiar with PW in-house tools such as AUTOMODELER, BCON, MUDS, FABL, and CFD-FEA Thermal Coupling.
• Competent in programming languages and simulation tools like ANSYS (APDL), VBA, and Python.
