we work to enable a world where financial security is accessible to all. The Associate Product Manager 
is responsible for supporting Product Managers as part of a product management team; however,
they are not the accountable Product Manager for a product. They develop knowledge, experience, 
and skills by working side-by-side experienced product managers. They participate and assist with 
discovery sessions, maintaining product health and operations metrics, and aiding in insights 
gathering. They typically support a highly complex product or family of products; gaining exposure and 
building relationships with key product disciplines. While building the skills required to operate as an 
independent product manager, they contribute to an efficient and effective product practice. They 
demonstrate curiosity, open-mindedness, and motivation to gain exposure and experience in all 
phases of the product lifecycle.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

  1. Product Discovery:

 

  • Learns about strategic intent, problems to solve, and outcome hypotheses 
    from PM or Senior PM
  • Listens and anticipates customer needs and conveys needs to PM or 
    Senior PM and product teams
  • Turn business and domain knowledge into product knowledge in 
    partnership with PM or Senior PM
  • Supports the product team (design, engineering, and various business 
    roles) in ideating and running experiments.
  • Reports on measurable performance against outcome hypotheses and 
    success criteria. Documents and shares insights and learnings with key 
    partners and stakeholders.

 

  1. Product Delivery:

 

  • Supports Product Managers and product teams to identify, understand, 
    and track resolution of impediments to progress and dependencies with 
    other teams
  • Helps procure, package, and distribute the business, customer, user, and 
    stakeholder context and information required to solve problems 
    effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborates with team to help administer key team practices and team 
    enablement technologies
  • May contribute to the role of product owner for SCRUM teams, 
    collaborating on story creation and refinement, definition and success 
    criteria, and acceptance that work is done.
  • Participate in team/agile ceremonies
  • Draft communications regarding product release

 

  1. Product Assessment:

 

  • Assist PM and Senior PM to ensure every goal-aligned unit of value 
    created by the team(s) is measurable and can show progress towards 
    product goals.
  • Monitors and communicates product health, impact of product releases, 
    and progress against product objectives.
  • Any Graduate with 3+ year of direct work experience supporting product, technology, business or demonstrated through 
    equivalent military experience.

      Experience with strategic thinking and decision making in a professional context.
      Experience with managing multiple workloads and/or competing priorities in a professional context.
     Experience with synthesizing, summarizing, and aggregating information and building visuals.
     Demonstrated experience solving problems and operating in uncertainty.
     Demonstrated experience producing accurate and high-quality deliverables.
     Demonstrated experience contributing within a team setting.
