Job Purpose (ideally 3-5 sentences)

The Marketing Analytics Consultant drives campaign measurement design and reporting for cross-functional teams of marketers. They act as a trusted, embedded strategic partner to these teams, helping them design and measure effective marketing activity. You will partner closely with each team as an analytical expert, advising on the implementation of tactics and helping implement proper experiments. You’ll then provide reporting and recommendations based on strategic marketing goals. As a core member of Kelly’s Marketing Analytics team, working under the direction of the Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics while informing data strategy across marketing groups, the Consultant role is a great opportunity to build data expertise as a part of a collaborative, supportive team of experts. Essential Functions (ideally 5-10 with greatest % first)

20% Provide data, information, and analysis to help business decision makers to make measurably different decisions than they would have otherwise. Work with the team to find net new insights in a creative way to find that aha moment to connect with business strategy. Use data, analytics and business acumen to help guide strategy by identifying target market profiles and a hypothesis for Ideal Customer Profile and propensity to become a client or applicant.
20% With a focus on driving website conversions from media/social channels and other online marketing tactics, provide marketing team with data insights to inform strategy on customer segmentation, customer and prospect targeting for marketing programs.
20% Create self-service dashboards that can detail campaign KPIs and insights in a meaningful way to the stakeholders.
20% While others do Google Analytics tagging, guide tagging and UTM measurement plans in order to capture excellent data that ties marketing activity.
20% Hypothesize, test and revise through experimentation, always working to improve and evaluate models. Use advanced techniques that integrate traditional and non-traditional datasets and method to enable analytical solutions.

Knowledge and Skills /indicate required or preferred

5+ years in marketing analytics or a similar quantitative role Deep familiarity with web conversion analytics, Google Analytics, and paid media/social channel analytics for Google Ads, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Facility with the fundamentals of good experimentation and the statistics behind them Working familiarity with HubSpot marketing automation and Power BI. Experience partnering with non-technical audiences, distilling their needs, and communicating technical concepts. Familiarity with marketing tactics (email, paid media, landing page optimization, etc.) Bonus points for familiarity with Salesforce reporting
