Job Description:
- Diploma in Mechanical engineer with 5+ years of experience in Lab Technician experience
- Organize, coordinate, and execute building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions.
- Utilize basic mechanical drawing or CAD software to document prototypes and fixtures.
- Explore and propose creative solutions to prototype based on solid rationales and contribute to design and process concepts.
- Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain mechanical lab equipment like Braider, Thermal Die Welder, Hot Air Oven, Tip shaping equipment, CNC Milling M/c, CNC lathe, Laminator, basic measuring equipment etc as per the requirements.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Identify and assist in resolving safety, health, or environmental issues associated with processes or equipment, and maintain compliance with good EHS practices.
- Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures.
- Communicate project status to project teams.
- Maintain the Good Lab Practices, Good Documentation Practices and 5S in the lab.
- Carrying out other routine tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
