Our Executive Social Media Consultant will own and strategically grow Kelly’s executives’ LinkedIn presence, managing content for up to 7 C-Suite leaders and positioning them as authentic thought leaders in the workforce strategy and solutions industry. This is a high-visibility, high-trust temporary in-house role, remote-eligible, for a seasoned social strategist who can operate independently, build relationships with senior executives, and bring both creative and analytical rigor to thought leadership content.
Key Competencies & Responsibilities
- Executive Voice Development & Ghostwriting:
Build and maintain authentic voice profiles for C-Suite executives; create and publish LinkedIn content that reflects each leader’s distinct perspective, tone, and areas of expertise – with a minimum cadence of 2x/week per active account. - Content Strategy & Brand Alignment:
Coordinate executive content with Kelly brand campaigns and the broader marketing calendar; ensure executive thought leadership reinforces Kelly’s messaging architecture and supports top-of-funnel brand visibility. - Measurement & Reporting:
Establish a KPI framework and UTM tracking infrastructure in Month 1; deliver monthly performance reports covering engagement by executive, brand traffic attribution, audience quality, follower growth, and notable wins and misses; conduct quarterly strategic program reviews. - Stakeholder & Workflow Management:
Own the content approval process and executive communications end-to-end; coordinate with executive assistants to stay informed of upcoming business moments, announcements, and speaking engagements; attend meetings as a silent content observer to capture authentic executive voice in real time without adding to exec workload. - Proactive Strategy & Program Stewardship:
Bring forward strategic recommendations proactively – not just fulfilling requests; deliver a comprehensive program assessment at end of term with full metric analysis and forward-looking recommendations on program structure, executive roster, and resource needs; produce full transition documentation to ensure continuity.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in social media, content marketing, or digital communications – agency, in-house brand, or staffing/professional services background all welcome
- Strong LinkedIn presence and working knowledge of the platform as a B2B content channel – you follow the algorithm, know what performs, and have a point of view on why
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt voice and tone across different personalities – some ghostwriting or writing-on-behalf-of experience is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working with data – can read analytics, build a basic report, and draw meaningful conclusions without needing a data team to translate
- Highly motivated and adaptable, with a curiosity to learn how enterprise brands and senior leaders show up in the market
- Self-driven and resourceful – comfortable managing multiple priorities with minimal day-to-day oversight in a remote environment
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Analytics, HubSpot, or similar tools preferred; willingness to learn UTM tracking and EveryoneSocial is expected
- Discretion and professionalism when handling executive communications and confidential brand information – this is a non-negotiable
- Staffing, HR technology, or workforce solutions industry experience is a plus
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States for the duration of the engagement – sponsorship is not offered with this position
Base pay rate for this position is $35.00 per hour. Final hourly compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.
