Our Sr. GFBS Analyst is accountable for:
Managing a complex, high-volume receivable portfolio, analyzing data, reconciling accounts, and identifying AR risks to reduce past-due balances, bad debt, and DSO.
Partnering with internal teams and external customers to resolve billing and collections issues while preserving strong business relationships.
Researching and resolving in-depth business process and customer issues with financial impact, recommending process improvements for efficiency and compliance.
Ensuring adherence to SOX controls, contract compliance, and financial policies, while documenting and maintaining account instructions.
Supporting special projects, driving efficiencies, and contributing to strategic financial initiatives across Kelly’s North American customer base.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, or Business) or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business with strong AR expertise.
Advanced Excel and strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to identify risks and recommend solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence across levels of the organization.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Strong adaptability and initiative—comfortable with technology, evolving processes, and driving continuous improvement.
Experience developing work instructions, training, and coaching others to improve departmental effectiveness.
This is a hybrid/virtual part time contract role in Troy, MI.
