Our in-office contract Recruiting Assistant is accountable for: 

  • Front Desk & Candidate Support:
    • Field all incoming phone calls and greet office walk-ins in a professional and friendly manner.
    • Provide information and direct inquiries appropriately to ensure efficient operation within the branch.
  • Prescreening & Interviewing:
    • Conduct prescreen interviews for all active open requisitions.
    • Gather detailed candidate assessments and submit qualified individuals to Recruiters & Account Managers as needed.
  • Talent Pipeline Development:
    • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines by consistently engaging with prospective candidates.
    • Support ongoing sourcing efforts using various job boards, referrals, and Kelly’s proprietary tools.
  • Administrative & System Support:
    • Update and manage candidate records and statuses accurately within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
    • Produce and maintain talent spreadsheets, recruiting reports, and other documentation as required.
  • Collaboration:
    • Actively coordinate and communicate with recruiting team members and hiring managers via Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
    • Participate in team meetings and support recruiting initiatives as assigned by the Market Manager.

 

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: 

  • Strong customer service and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Exceptional competency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word & Excel
  • Previous experience or familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Bullhorn experience highly preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and systems
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task in a busy office setting
  • Prior staffing or recruiting experience a plus, but not required

 

Seeking minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional office or customer service environment, recruiting is a plus. 

 

Shift: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm 

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00hr.
