Our Services Procurement Consultant is accountable for:
Facilitate and monitor outsourced service engagements through the life cycle which may include:
- Manage the life cycle of client’s outsourced service and project-based engagement using vendor management systems to include:
- Working with managers to create new requests.
- Conducting SOW quality and compliance reviews.
- Digitizing statements of work into the vendor management system.
- Translating service requirements into digital statements of work within a client’s vendor management system.
- Analyzing supplier rates and market benchmarking.
- Negotiating savings.
- Facilitating change orders.
- Monitoring payment.
- Facilitating onboarding and offboarding services suppliers and workers.
- Manage the process for any independent contractor evaluations.
- Consult with managers and client stakeholders to guide managers to proper buying channels and help ensure they follow company guidelines.
- Consult with managers and client stakeholders to develop supplier requirements into an effective statement of work.
- Conduct contract and pricing negotiations.
- Oversee supplier contracts and associated statements of work (SOW).
- Monitor SOW approvals by manager and service provider, create amendments for changes, track spend and monitor project end date.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators of supplier performance.
- Actively manage supply base which may include:
- Monitoring supplier performance including Scorecarding and KPI tracking.
- Developing supplier continuous improvement and corrective action plans.
- Facilitating supplier business reviews with client stakeholders.
- Ensure that all key service delivery objectives are met by taking an active role in continuous improvement of service delivery processes and in maintaining and improving stakeholder experience.
- Establish and manage relationships between the Suppliers, Client Managers, Procurement and other Stakeholders to ensure that all processes are followed and executed in a timely manner.
- Create, maintain and enhance program documentation such as SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), work instructions and process flows.
- Act as a cooperative and contributing team member of the global program, delivering a high level of service and collaborating and supporting projects and stakeholders across all global regions.
- Ensure timely submittal of milestone payments, audit for accurate invoicing information and research and resolve supplier payment issues.
- Establish and build a professional rapport, following up consistently and maintaining on-going contact and communication.
- Maintain and keep current all required documentation in the designated technology platforms.
- Proactively identify service delivery issues and coordinate timely resolution.
- Educate suppliers and managers on program and provide appropriate training.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Procurement, Technical, or Business-related field.
- Experience in Procurement or an Operations role supporting SOWs or equivalent experience.
- Strongly preferred experience in external client service outsourcing or consulting.
- Prior experience with VMS tools such as SAP Fieldglass/Beeline or procurement systems like SAP Ariba.
- Experience supporting indirect services categories such as Consulting, IT services, or engineering services.
- Proven track record of managing procurement-related projects or initiatives effectively, ensuring timely delivery and desired outcomes.
Base salary range is $61785 to $80,000
