Government Healthcare Policy Consultant--forecasted for 20 hours/week for four weeks, then 10 hours/week--represents a strategic investment critical to launching and growing the KGS Healthcare portfolio. Importantly, this role requires a healthcare background and a specific nursing degree as mandated by Joint Commission standards, ensuring the consultant possesses the expertise necessary for regulatory compliance and accreditation.
Responsibilities:
- NPDB Registration
- Research licensing and credentialing standards for multiple disciplines across the U.S.
- Identify top target states for establishing licensure for healthcare staffing
- Joint Commission Accreditation
- Collaborate with leadership and legal to review and revise healthcare policies as needed
- Review credentialing, compliance and Relias training requirements per role and program
- Conduct weekly review of dashboards for credentialing compliance, alert team to issues for resolution
- Review monthly file audit results from HC teams
- Review NPDB reports and provide guidance on next steps, if disciplinary action reported
