Join our dynamic team as an IT SOX Compliance Analyst—a strategic and hands-on role, pivotal to leading global IT internal controls and SOX compliance initiatives. Based at a senior level and requiring advanced IT compliance experience, this position empowers you to oversee IT SOX program strategy, execution, and continuous improvement across global systems, ensuring alignment with internal policies and evolving external regulations.

**Must be authorized to work in the United States full time.

Key Competencies Required

  • Compliance Program Leadership: Demonstrate initiative and expertise in managing large-scale SOX compliance programs, including planning, scoping, and risk assessment.
  • Strategic Compliance Thinking: Ability to design, implement, and enhance SOX and IT control strategy within a fast-changing regulatory landscape.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs), IT Application Controls (ITACs), and relevant frameworks (COSO, COBIT); strong understanding of ERP systems, operating systems, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Risk Assessment & Data Analytics: Proficient in evaluating IT risks, leveraging data analytics for control testing, and interpreting results to guide management decisions.
  • Audit & Stakeholder Collaboration: Skilled in coordinating with internal and external auditors, facilitating communication, and resolving compliance issues efficiently.
  • Advisory & Change Management: Capacity to serve as a strategic IT SOX advisor to senior management, staying abreast of updates in standards, and integrating compliance into IT projects.
  • Documentation & Process Automation: Adherence to high documentation standards and process optimization using automated tools.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the global IT SOX compliance program, from planning through to testing and process improvement.
  • Develop and execute strategies for continuous compliance with SOX and IT control policies.
  • Oversee design and effectiveness testing of ITGCs and ITACs.
  • Coordinate SOX activities with audit teams and ensure timely remediation.
  • Provide expert guidance on SOX matters, incorporating new regulation changes and industry frameworks.
  • Integrate SOX controls into new system designs and IT initiatives.
  • Deliver compliance training and raise awareness among staff.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT controls and processes.
  • Manage tools and technologies to optimize the SOX compliance workflow.
  • Continuously monitor and review IT control performance for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT audit/SOX compliance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth expertise in IT control frameworks (COSO, COBIT, NIST).
  • Strong communication, advisory, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to drive change, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results.

Base pay range for this position is $73,875 – 98,500 per year.  Final annual compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.
