Our Data Engineer is accountable for:
- Supporting the Shared Services team across all RPO programs by designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure
- Developing and maintaining automated data pipelines to support data processing, reporting, and analytics requirements
- Designing, optimizing, and validating data warehouse environments to ensure high availability, data integrity, and performance
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation including data architecture diagrams, pipeline designs, and data dictionaries to support knowledge sharing and system maintainability
- Partnering with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to understand business needs and deliver clean, structured datasets
- Evaluating new tools and technologies to continuously improve data architecture, data accessibility, and system performance
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experiences:
- Experience working as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role
- Strong proficiency in SQL (Redshift or PostgreSQL preferred)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture
- Experience working within AWS-based data environments preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with technical documentation and ticketing tools such as Jira or Confluence
- Preferred experience with Python for data processing or automation
- Preferred experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Looker
Location: LATAM (Remote)
