Kelly Services is in the middle of a significant brand transformation — consolidating a portfolio of acquired brands into a single, unified masterbrand across ten lines of business. We're looking for a skilled contract copywriter to join our Central Marketing team and help bring this transformation to life across multiple content streams. This is a high-impact engagement with meaningful, varied work at the heart of a brand that's been powering the workforce for 80 years.
You'll be embedded in an active brand transformation project, producing copy across a range of workstreams depending on the phase of work. This includes brand messaging and positioning copy, internal communications supporting brand rollout and change management, website copy articulating our solutions portfolio, and supporting materials for leadership and stakeholder communications. Work may also include campaign-adjacent content, sales enablement copy, and other brand expression as priorities evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate has direct experience writing for staffing, workforce solutions, or talent services — you understand the industry's language, audiences, and competitive dynamics. If your background is in adjacent B2B sectors, we'll consider strong candidates who can demonstrate the ability to write with authority for complex, service-based businesses.
Beyond subject matter, we need someone who writes with clarity and confidence, adapts tone across audiences (from frontline employees to C-suite), and can move between strategic brand writing and practical communications copy without losing quality or consistency. You're comfortable working within an established brand voice framework and can produce clean, executive-ready copy with minimal revision cycles.
Qualifications:
- Experience writing for staffing, workforce solutions, or B2B professional services is strongly preferred.
- A portfolio demonstrating range across brand, web, and internal or corporate communications is required.
- You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift and timelines are real.

- This is a part-time contract role at 20 hours per week for an initial three-month term, with the option to extend to five months based on project needs and performance. Work is remote.
Base pay rate for this position is $37.00 - $38.00 per hour. Final hourly compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.
