Our Head of North America Staffing is a commercially driven, financially accountable leader who owns growth and profitability for North America Staffing. The role holds full P&L responsibility across all staffing entities, driving revenue growth, gross profit expansion, and EBITDA improvement, while setting and executing the sales strategy that takes Kelly Staffing to the next level of scale and performance.

Reporting to the President, Staffing & BPO, this leader is expected to anticipate market shifts, act decisively, and adapt in real time – working with agility and focusing on executing strategy at fast pace in a dynamic, competitive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • People & Culture First
    • Architect and lead a high-performance, people-first culture anchored in accountability, talent development, and inclusion
    • Build an environment of psychological safety paired with uncompromising performance standards and leadership accountability
  • Sales Strategy & New Business Growth
    • Own and continuously evolve the North America sales strategy across all staffing entities
    • Drive scalable new logo acquisition, enforce pricing discipline, and lead sustained margin expansion; proactively adjust strategy based on market and competitive shifts
    • Generate and launch new workforce solutions that create competitive market advantage; demonstrate curiosity and action around future-of-work trends
  • Client & Talent Centricity
    • Act as executive sponsor for the organization’s most strategic accounts
    • Deepen enterprise relationships, expand revenue footprint, and ensure long-term account health and retention
    • Lead high-stakes negotiations that optimize outcomes for both clients and talent while protecting enterprise value
  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Execution
    • Orchestrate alignment across sales, delivery, operations, finance, and marketing to execute enterprise priorities; redesign operating models and drive measurable reductions in cost-to-serve at scale
    • Partner with Marketing and Growth functions to shape pursuit strategy and market positioning
    • Ensure disciplined pipeline management, forecast integrity, and accountability against enterprise KPIs (revenue, margin, win rate, and growth velocity)
  • Business & Financial Acumen
    • Own and actively manage the full P&L for North America Staffing; translate financial performance, revenue, gross profit, and EBITDA, into clear operational decisions and accountable leadership actions at every level of the business
    • Leverage data and digital tools to identify growth levers, monitor business health, and drive evidence-based decisions; build or strengthen the analytics capability within the team to move the business from insight to action with speed

Knowledge, Skills, and Experiences:

  • 20+ years of progressive sales leadership in staffing or B2B services; accountable for large, complex, multi-market revenue portfolios including demonstrated ownership of a $1B+ P&L across multiple business segments or service lines
  • Proven new business builder with a track record of driving growth and sustaining client relationships with a proven record navigating both growth and turnaround cycles, not only favorable market conditions
  • Demonstrated agility; able to read market signals, adapt strategy quickly, and execute in ambiguity
  • Experience improving margin alongside revenue; strong pricing discipline and governance experience
  • Deep understanding of the North America staffing landscape, client buying behavior, and competitive positioning
  • People-first leadership with a track record of team development, retention, and strong culture; demonstrated history of promoting leaders who have gone on to greater roles — builds bench, not dependency
  • Strong client and talent orientation reflected in decision-making and outcomes
  • Executive presence with credibility at the C-suite level
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functionally across sales, delivery, operations, and finance; demonstrated ability to drive alignment and outcomes across stakeholders and functions outside direct ownership — without relying on positional authority
  • Data-driven with strong analytical skills; able to translate insights into action; demonstrated ability to build or scale analytics capability with fluency in digital staffing platforms
  • Experience in matrixed or multi-entity environments preferred
  • Led major organizational transformation; maintained business performance through change and drove adoption with both empathy and pace — not change-averse, not a protector of status quo
