This position, in our Office of the Presidents (OOP) function, serves as a key relationship holder to all resources critical to delivering in their portfolio, including providing leadership to clients, suppliers, and key technology partners, as well as to internal Kelly leaders and peers.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Growth
- Develops and executes a client growth strategy that expands portfolio market share by deeply understanding client priorities and aligning Kelly's full range of solutions to their business reality
- Leads planning for client expansion, renewals, and new opportunity development — bringing a consultative, insight-driven approach to every stage of the sales cycle
- Analyzes financial and operational data to uncover growth opportunities, translating complex information into compelling, client-centered narratives that inspire action
Client Relationship & Account Management
- Serves as a trusted strategic partner and primary relationship owner for key clients — someone clients turn to not just for solutions, but for perspective
- Leads the development and execution of strategic account plans that reflect both client goals and Kelly's growth objectives
- Challenges conventional thinking in partnership with clients, crafting workforce strategies that create genuine win-win outcomes
- Cultivates and sustains strong relationships across client leadership, supplier partners, technology partners, and internal stakeholders — earning credibility through consistency and results
- Holds a high bar for service delivery excellence, addressing challenges quickly, collaboratively, and with the client's long-term success in mind
- Identifies and drives client expansion initiatives, connecting the right Kelly capabilities to the right opportunities at the right time
Thought Leadership
- Serves as a subject matter expert on portfolio trends, industry best practices, and workforce solutions — bringing insight that elevates the client relationship beyond transactional
- Stays ahead of shifts in labor classifications, workforce trends, and emerging risks, offering clients proactive guidance before issues arise
- Advises on staffing models and solution design, partnering with clients to implement approaches that are practical, sustainable, and high-impact
- Acts as a connector — linking client needs to Kelly's solution areas and bringing the right internal voices to the table at the right moment
Operational Delivery
- Champions recruitment delivery excellence across programs, holding a high standard for quality, consistency, and follow-through
- Oversees governance and execution across all programs within the account, ensuring alignment and accountability without micromanaging
- Supports resource planning and operational alignment in service of both client satisfaction and business growth
- Contributes actively to knowledge sharing, capability building, and continuity planning — strengthening the broader team as much as the individual account
- Sets clear objectives tied to business strategy and fosters a culture of accountability and high-quality results across all stakeholders involved
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experiences:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience leading large, complex staffing accounts — with a track record that speaks for itself in client retention, growth, and relationship depth
- Deep understanding of the full sales cycle and a natural ability to move opportunities forward through influence, not authority
- Proven success building and sustaining senior-level client relationships grounded in trust, candor, and mutual investment in outcomes
- In-depth operational knowledge of total talent management strategies and workforce solutions across multiple business models
- Skilled communicator and collaborator who wins people over through preparation, credibility, and genuine partnership — not position or title
- Adept at navigating ambiguity and complexity with steadiness, bringing clarity and confidence to situations where the path forward isn't always obvious
- Highly effective at influencing without direct authority — able to align internal teams, business units, and external stakeholders around a shared strategy and move them to action
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen — someone who sees the revenue opportunity in every client conversation and knows how to pursue it thoughtfully
- Emotionally intelligent, self-aware, and skilled at reading the room — whether in an executive client meeting, an internal planning session, or a difficult conversation
