Our Head of Implementation is a senior enterprise leader responsible for driving implementation excellence across the organization by translating complex client engagements into scalable, repeatable, and high-performing delivery outcomes.
This VP-level role sits at the center of the commercial and delivery organization, connecting sales, design, delivery, technology, legal, supply chain enablement, and executive leadership to ensure consistent client success and execution excellence. It is responsible for designing and operating the end-to-end implementation system, including delivery execution, governance, performance management, and continuous improvement, while also shaping the supplier and partner ecosystem that enables successful client outcomes.
The successful candidate is a systems-oriented leader who combines strategic thinking, operational rigor, and strong relationship management – designing scalable operating models, leading global cross-functional teams, managing complex stakeholder and partner ecosystems, and using data and insights to continuously evolve performance and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Implementation & Delivery Excellence
- Own the global implementation strategy and execution model across all client engagements.
- Translate complex client requirements into scalable, repeatable delivery frameworks and operating systems.
- Oversee end-to-end implementation lifecycle from solution design through execution, stabilization, and optimization.
- Establish and enforce project and program management standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement of implementation processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and client satisfaction.
- Develop KPIs and performance dashboards to measure success and enable data-driven decision-making.
Supplier Strategy, Lifecycle & Contracting Leadership
- Own the global supplier engagement, strategy, and lifecycle management function within the MSP ecosystem.
- Develop and execute supplier segmentation, optimization, and performance management strategies.
- Lead supplier relationship governance, including escalations, conflict resolution, and strategic negotiations.
- Oversee supplier contracting strategy, including templates, frameworks, risk assessment tools, and automation initiatives.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure robust, scalable, and globally consistent contract structures.
- Design supplier programs such as preferred supplier networks, advisory councils, rewards programs, and forums.
Partner Ecosystem Development (Technology, Payroll/EOR, Supply Chain)
- Lead strategic relationships with technology vendors, VMS/ATS providers, payroll/EOR partners, and workforce platforms.
- Develop joint go-to-market strategies with partners to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Ensure effective integration of partner solutions into client delivery and operational ecosystems.
- Evaluate and continuously evolve partner ecosystem performance against business outcomes and KPIs.
- Serve as executive sponsor for key partner relationships and escalation point for complex issues.
Cross-Functional Commercial & Operational Leadership
- Act as a strategic bridge between Sales, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Delivery teams.
- Partner with Sales to ensure proposals, solution designs, and pricing are operationally viable and scalable.
- Support business development efforts by contributing implementation, supplier, and partner expertise in client pursuits.
- Influence enterprise strategy by aligning delivery capabilities with revenue growth objectives.
- Ensure seamless coordination between internal execution teams and external ecosystems.
Risk, Financial & Performance Management
- Own financial governance across implementation, supplier, and partner ecosystems, including budgets and cost optimization.
- Establish risk frameworks covering delivery execution, supplier performance, and partner dependencies.
- Monitor KPIs across implementation success, supplier performance, and partner contribution to revenue.
- Drive corrective actions based on data insights, performance analytics, and operational reporting.
- Lead post-implementation and performance reviews to institutionalize learning and improvement.
People Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead and develop global teams across implementation, supplier strategy, contract management, and partner engagement.
- Manage through direct and indirect leadership structures, including regional and functional managers.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Provide mentorship and career development for senior leaders and emerging talent.
- Define organizational structure and capability needs to support future growth and scalability.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experiences:
- 12+ years of leadership in implementation, program/project delivery, supplier/partner ecosystems, or related disciplines within B2B services, staffing, MSP/RPO, or enterprise workforce solutions
- Proven success leading global, cross-functional teams delivering complex client programs on time and on budget
- Expertise in designing and scaling implementation operating models that integrate sales, operations, delivery, and client outcomes
- Strong systems thinker with ability to connect people, process, technology, and data into scalable operating frameworks
- Experience building performance management systems, KPIs, and reporting that link execution to client satisfaction and revenue impact
- Proficiency with enterprise tools and platforms including project tools (MS Project, Asana, Jira), CRM systems (Salesforce/HubSpot), ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and VMS/ATS environments
- Strong analytical capability using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to drive insights and performance tracking
- Skilled in cross-functional alignment across sales, operations, finance, legal, and delivery teams
- Experience in supplier lifecycle management and strategic partner ecosystems
- Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills
- Ability to operate in ambiguity, drive continuous improvement, and build scalable, documented operating frameworks
- Commercially focused leader who connects operational execution and ecosystem performance to business and revenue outcomes
Location: Virtual / Remote
Travel: As required by business needs
Base pay range for this position is $155,000 – $210,000 per year. Final annual compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.
