Job Description:

• The Legal Bill Review is responsible for handling and managing insurance defense and tort litigation, other legal disputes, assignments, and related issues and matters for Claims, including the management of the relationship with outside panel counsel, or retained counsel.
• Review law firms via Counsel Link to ensure compliance with litigation handling guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, including professional communication with law firms.
• Maintain high level of organization to remain capable of managing multiple invoice issues.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure application of billing guidelines and rule sets.
• Identify trends and billing patterns.
• Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using NextGen and other claims systems.
• Basic to intermediate change management skills.
• Functions autonomously to deliver corporate results while keeping management apprised of work progress and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Analytical and detail-oriented.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
