Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

·      Design, develop and maintain ETL workflows, SSIS/SSRS/SSAS applications for data integration, transformations, writing efficient and optimized SQL queries.

·      Build proof of concept prototypes based on requirement documentation.

·      Participate in discussions regarding requirements, designing the application with users and team members.

·      Provide effort estimates for a given requirement and able to explain requirements.

·      Work both as an individual contributor and team player.

·      Review the development, coding standards, and be aware of application change management processes to ensure compliance within releases.

·      Perform data profiling, validation, troubleshooting of data issues across multiple data sources, maintain proper documentation for processes, workflows and solutions delivered.

·      Should be able to design the target architecture for new solutions or when adding any new capabilities to existing solutions.
