Medical Devices Engineer CREO/Solidworks - JR-047321

         Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering with 6+ years Mechanical Product Development experience with at least 3+ years in medical device Industry

         Expert in modeling and detailing using Creo/Windchill and Solidworks

         Design skills include an understanding of drafting standards, design progression, GD&T including Tolerance stack-up analysis.

         Good experience in metal and plastic materials and manufacturing processes

         Experience in engineering change orders & exposure to PLM tools like Agile/Windchill

         Able to effectively work with cross functional teams to ensure timely release of documents.

         Troubleshoot technical problems, determine, and execute resolution plans.

         Good written and verbal communication skills required.

         Other responsibilities as assigned to ensure project success.

         Knowledge in medical device regulations & standards like ISO 13485, ISO 14971

         Knowledge in product life cycle management and design controls for medical devices

         Experience in writing and executing DVT protocols.

         Understanding of materials and common manufacturing processes (i.e., Injection Molding, Metal Forming, Machining, Heat Treating etc.)

         Exposure to DFMEA and PFMEA
