Role Description

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Specialist is responsible for development, execution, and support of Robotic Process Automation solutions. The RPA Developer will work closely with process owners and business partners to automate processes using RPA software. The RPA Developer is part of the Global Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) in New York, reporting to the RPA Product Owner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or a comparable field.
• Strong understanding of RPA concepts.
• 2 to 3 years of experience with market leading process automation platforms, such as Blue Prism (preferred), Automation Anywhere, UiPath and deep understanding of technical architecture.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with SQL, .NET (C# / VB.NET) or other programming languages.
• Experience with document processing using OCR, machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) is a plus.
• Experience with various IT infrastructure topics (e.g., Azure) is a plus.
• Knowledge of SDLC process and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to partner with different business units to develop RPA solutions.
• Has delivered RPA solution in a production environment.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills, must be able to communicate technical concepts into business terms.

Job Description: 

• Coding and development of Robotic Process Automation using automation tools, workflow systems or other technologies.
• Analyze business processes, identify RPA opportunities, and recommend technical approach.
• Develop standards and best practices for RPA including governance, operating models, and solutions.
• Design, build, program, test and deploy RPA solutions using CoE methodologies, ensuring a successful solution delivery.
• Operational support of new bots and existing bots.
• Support training and knowledge transfer programs.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
• Coordination with the HQ infrastructure teams.
• Ability to work independently and remotely in a matrix organization.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of time.
