Responsibilities (how we will measure success)
- Design and Development – develop high quality RPA solutions using Automation Anywhere A360 to automate business processes and tasks
- Process Assessment: work with business analysts and stakeholders to identify and assess potential processes for automation, ensuring they are suitable for RPA
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed bots, including solution design documents (SDD), sprint plans, test cases, runbook, and technical specifications
- Testing and Debugging: conduct thorough testing (smoke testing and UAT) and debugging of automated processes to ensure accuracy, reliability and robustness of RPA solutions
- Deployment and maintenance: deploy RPA bots in production environments, monitor their performance and provide ongoing maintenance and support to ensure they function optimally
- Training and support – train and support end-users and team members on RPA tools and best practices, ensuring smooth adoption and efficient use of automation solutions
- Continuous improvement: continuously seek ways to improve and optimise RPA solutions, staying up-to-date with the latest RPA trends and technologies
Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)
- Developing high quality RPA solutions using Automation Anywhere A360 to automate business processes and tasks
- Identifying and communicating the technical infrastructure requirements
- Problem solving issues that arise in day to day running of automated processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required
- Communicating with internal stakeholders and vendors on software related issues, suggested improvements and participating with other users in the vendor community
- Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process
- Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high standard code quality and identify areas for improvement.
Required Experience
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in RPA development, with at least 2 years specifically using Automation Anywhere A360, including creating bots, workflows and automation scripts
- Automation Anywhere Advanced and/or Master Developer certification
- Strong understanding of RPA best practices, frameworks, and methodologies
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# is advantageous
- Fluency in English
- Experience working with unstructured / semi-structured data, ideally automating business processes leveraging Automation Anywhere Document Automation
- Understanding of Automation Anywhere ecosystem (AARI, A360, etc.) features of the product

- Degree level qualification
