Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Ownership of ICQ’s and timely review of Monthly control in Global Investment Leasing CoE.
  • Ensure on time of month end closure and reporting’s for IFA and Leasing.
  • Review and Approve the IPG Project creation and capitalization.
  • Review Global leasing process and ensure adequate control are in place.
  • Define next steps to mitigate the financial control weaknesses, wherever applicable.
  • Monitors/tracks open audit next steps and is aware of internal and external audit plan.
  • Review accounting Manual related to IFA and Leasing and recommend any changes to the manual and complies to the prevailing accounting standards.
  • Highlights all accounting issues in the periodic governance and ensure timely solutions are agreed and implemented to avoid surprises.
  • Ownership of KPI’s reported to the stakeholders.
  • Drive & achieve finance GBS KPI’s.
  • Challenge the status quo in providing additional services than the regular tasks.
  • Reviews and challenges periodic reporting/reconciliations for incorrect and inconsistent accounting and initiates resolution.
  • Identify adequate backups for the existing processes to reduce people dependency.
  • Proactively managing Escalations.
  • Driving people for innovation in the processes.
  • Administers the performance appraisal process within the team.

 

Job Description:

 

  • Minimum 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Interaction with multiple internal stakeholders, India and Affiliates.
  • Ensure support to operations / projects in Finance GBS in order to implement projects according to plan, which involves close interaction with Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers and employees in Affiliates, as well as employees and management in Finance.
  • Willing to invest time and effort in personal development.
  • Flexible to accommodate changes in priorities.
  • Monitors job performance of team members by regular 1-1 and provide constructive feedback.
  • Coach & develop people.
